resiliency

Proactive planning is healthy but there comes a point where our problem solving thoughts turn into worrying/ruminating thoughts. These kinds of thoughts become unproductive, counterintuitive, and draining. And it points to the necessity for our minds to rest.

Instead of taking in more and more media/information, go for a hike, practice yoga, exercise, eat nourishing foods and drink plenty of water/herbal tea and rest, rest, rest. Do your best to enjoy the simplicity of these kinds of mindful motions and get acquainted to what it’s like to take in less of the excess.

To navigate this with resiliency will require our most skillful actions and thoughts. Be attentive to your patterns, and remember you always have a choice on how you respond to every situation.
